Oren is a Partner in Dalberg’s San Francisco office and is the co-lead of the firm's Climate and Environment Practice and Cities Practice. Oren advises city and national governments, multilateral development agencies, foundations, NGOS, and corporations to develop and implement strategies that promote environmental sustainability and advance equity and justice for people and communities. He has a diverse background in strategy consulting, academia, and high-growth start-up ventures, and significant experience as an economist addressing important issues in global energy, environmental markets, and sustainable development. International experience focused on emerging markets throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Previously, Dr. Ahoobim was a Director at Frontier Strategy Group in Washington DC and New York, and an Associate at Mercer Management Consulting in San Francisco. He holds a BA, MA, and PhD in Economics from Stanford University, where he also served as an Instructor of Economics and Mathematics.
