As a lead Business Intelligence Analyst, I act as the liaison between the business units and the BI Team, utilizing relationship management to effectively manage business demands and expectations for Corporate, strategic, and departmentally initiated projects. Responsible for gathering requirements from business owners (which may include senior or executive level management), documenting those requirements using standard document templates, communicating risks/contingencies to project managers, consulting with technical development staff to clarify business requirements and participating in design and demonstration sessions with technical and business staff I strive for a balance between exceeding customer expectations and providing the business with realistic feedback on scope, schedule and budget. All while helping to ensure that BI Solutions are properly integrated in support of business goals and objectives.

Provided policy makers with the ability to assess the impact of system changes on outcomes, quality, access, cost and use of health care resources. Helped to develop current employer group reporting process. Conducted 2 year trend analysis for employer groups. Conducted 4 year trend analysis for Self Funded and Experience Rated lines of business. Developed automation of report templates in Excel. Developed automation of presentations for clinical account managers in VBA. Created interactive dashboards in Excel. Created ERRP extracts for all participating employer groups.
