• Review & approve all Trade Finance Transactions and Ensure a smooth flow of Trade Finance functions & in abidance with policies & procedures.• Approve all transactions above the set limits of cash head, Review all Branch cash and operations transactions, and Monitor Branch cash retention limit and cash shipment• Ensure following set procedures / policies concerning custody of Branch’s vault keys and registers• Confirm F.X. deals with Head Office• Review clearing session and follow up on collected and rejected cheques in Absence of relative cash staff• Prepare respond to audit comments related to branch operations• Follow up and coordinate with other department, to ensure a smooth flow of operation.• Act as the Branch’s Compliance Coordinator, responsible of Monitor closely and effectively the daily Branchtransactions for any suspicious, unusual or out of trend activities, and respond to compliance queries and provide monthly compliance reports and all other related reports

• perform the operational functions related to cash area including cash/non-cash transactions and provides a superior service level to all customers and manage the branch daily cash needs with Head Teller for better coordination of cash shipments between the branch and central vault.• Process all the cash counter transactions accurately in accordance with the set objectives and maintain zero cash shortages and excesses at counter to ensure maximum control on cash balance.• Investigate thoroughly any differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other security items by following the standard process of checking / scrutiny / investigation as outlined in Branch standard operating procedure manual.• Maintain accurate checking on all end of day reports and rectifying of highlighted discrepancies to ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to.• Check counterfeit currencies, checks and identities.• Be attentive to any possible frauds and risks and provide customer feedback to direct supervision.• Complies with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code ofconduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
