After 10 years in the workforce, I graduated cum laude from Elizabethtown College with a major in English-professional writing, a minor in film studies, and with honors in English. My honors project looked at how the Vietnam War is depicted via film and literature and is entitled Never Forget: A Select Examination of Vietnam War Media. I was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, as well. There is nothing I enjoy more than finding just the right words towards crafting an article which holds the reader in its grasp and does not let go. Working as an editorial intern at Harrisburg Magazine, as part of the English program at E-town, I was afforded the opportunity to write and edit articles published in both the print magazine and on the magazine's website. I was also able to channel my love for the cinema into writing film reviews for E-town's newspaper, the Etownian. Well-versed in Adobe InDesign, WordPress, and AP Style, I am a meticulous, dependable, flexible, and hard-working individual looking for a chance to put my passion to the page and grow as a writer.
