Head of MTV Pakistan reporting to the CEO of Indus Network in Pakistan with a dotted line to the President of MTV International based in London.Led a successful transition from the local Indus Music Brand to MTV Pakistan. Launched nation-wide joint marketing campaigns with Citibank and McDonalds to highlight MTV’sreach and appeal as a youth brand. Developed customized on-air promotions to attract key brands to MTV Pakistan on a long-term basis. Launched key Music Award show properties with leading brands such as Mobilink, Coke and Motorola worth $2MM+ per annum which is a record-breaking sponsorship deal in the Pakistan TV Market.

Main Card Acquisition liason with Delta Airlines - responsible for acquiring 100,000 cards per annum through Delta Airlines card Acquisition Channels

Led key merchant acquisition and card acceptance pricing deals in the Asia Pacific region and the US i.e. Pricing for global US Airlines, Retail chains, Hotels and related T&E industries and new industry penetration strategy across regional markets. Focus on protecting merchant fee margins for Amex.

As a part of the regional merchant profitability program, successfully developed a transactional costing analysis for key regional markets while based at the Asia Operations Centre in Sydney, Australia. This analysis currently forms the basis for all AmEx profitability analyses required for network and proprietary card deals in the region.

Successfully developed an activity based merchant profitability analysis for key European Airlines based on activity based costing principles. This analysis was used in discount fee negotiations with various European airlines including British Airways and Lufthansa. Wrote a thesis based on this project as an MBA requirement. Promoted to Manager and transferred to Hong Kong.

As the Business Planning Head for Pakistan managed two MBA direct reports and was responsible for assisting senior management in managing all investments within the strategic quality planning framework and preparation of annual budgets for Card, Travel and Traveler Cheques products.
