My mentor constantly challenges me to answer a two important questions. First, what is my “Why?”My why is to build a better community. A community of inspiration, empowerment, accountability, guidance, and support to help individuals reach your fitness and sports performance goals. More importantly my why is to build a community that reaches far beyond the walls of Prodigy Performance.The second question my mentor challenges me with is “What are your Core Values?” Below are my Core Values.1) Permanent Beta - Strive to be better today than we were yesterday. Never stop learning.2) Leadership Has No Title - lead by your actions and words.3) Community - Provide a place of accountability, guidance, and support.4) Integrity - Do the right thing, especially when no one is looking.5) Family - Treat our clients like family.I believe that every coach should have a strong scientific understanding of the foundations of exercise, health, and sports performance. There is a lot of information floating around out in the world and it is easy to follow exercise programs found in magazines or on the internet from so called “fitness experts”. I have earned my Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the NSCA, which helps me to separate the useful and accurate information from the crap that is out there.
