To Coordinate with Maintenance - Managers and Reporting to Executive Vice President of YTL Hotels & Properties Sdn. Bhd. for the following properties.Vistana Kuala-Lumpur – 364 Rooms Hotel & 90 Service Apartments.Vistana Penang – 238 Rooms Hotel & 182 Service Apartments. Vistana Kuantan – 215 Rooms Hotel1. Regularly inspect the building facilities, equipment & machines to record and follow-up on the pending work orders.2. Conduct a monthly meeting with Maintenance Managers, Hotel Managers and Group Purchasing-Manager and EVP YTL Hotels & Properties.3. Consult and enforce a cyclic Care-Programs for Rooms - Public Area and Preventive maintenance for Plants with associated equipment.4. Prepare CAPEX planning for each financial years and apply cost effective measures, monthly inventory with ordering of engineering tools and materials to execute work on time.5. Liaise with local authorities to ensure all necessary licensing approvals are done on time.6. Energy conservation; monitoring the efficacy of equipment and source out energy efficient products. 7. Organize and negotiate with Service contractors and waste disposal etc. 8. Monthly Reports.9. Conduct interviews for engineering personnel, Quarterly performance evaluation and addressing essential Training for engineering team.10. Review SOPs.

DAY TO DAY OPERATION : Daily inspection, monitoring - recording and checking of operating parameters / meter readings for all engineering plant & equipment using check-list.PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE : Execute the preventive-maintenance program for all engineering plant and equipment in accordance with the manufacturer' instruction manuals.CARE PROGRAM : 364 Guest Room are maintained as new in condition by running a cyclic care-program ( 10 days / 28 rooms ) and Public area maintenance on monthly basis i.e. Painting, Varnishing, Bathroom-grouting, Water proofing, Air-con service, Electrical and Plumbing maintenance etc.IN HOUSE REPAIRS : Prioritize in-house repairing work for better quality, shorter down-time, save cost and keep control in own hands v/s service contractors.SERVICE CONTRACTORS : Supervise the contractors for the routine maintenance services, follow-up on pending issues and offer cost effective solutions. ENERGY MANAGEMENT : Apply energy efficient strategies to reduce operating cost.FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT : Allocate maintenance budgets, CAPEX planning.RENOVATION PROJECTS : Assist on design of M&E services and control over the quality of workmanship and material used.LOCAL AUTHORITIES : Liaise with local authorities for approval & renewal of operating license. Fire Dept. (BOMBA), Electricity Dept. (JBE), Water Dept. (JBA), DOSH (JKKP) etc.SPARE-PARTS & ENGINEERING MATERIAL : Search the spare-parts throughout Malaysia and overseas. Also maintain engineering store inventory against daily consumption. POMEC: Keep track on daily basis.STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT : Conduct training on Engineering Equipment’s, Fire & Safety, Hotel SOP and communication skill. Performance evaluation every Quarterly & Annually.SOP & POLICIES : Establish the SOP & activity flow and Departmental policies.REPORTS & RECORDS : Check-lists, Plant history, work-progress, Tools & stock inventory and produce the departmental report on monthly & annually basis.

PLAZA RAKYET HIGH RISE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT -1. To supervise the construction activities for Electrical Installation of a 78-story office tower building by checking, monitoring and inspecting the workmanship quality of and sub-contractors progress.2. The person in-charge for maintenance of temporary electrical power supply and various construction equipment. 3. To re-designing of electrical shop drawings in case of any correction / modification required for 78-story office tower building.4. Purchase of electrical material for construction site.5. Safety officer for Electrical Services.6. Pre-opening of Radisson Blue Hotel 138 Plaza Jalan Ampang building construction under Daewoo Corporation Malaysia.

FOR DAIRY & JUICE PLANT -1. To repair and maintenance of food processing equipment equipped with PLC controls. i.e. Drinks Filling Machines, Pasteurization plant, Bottle water-plant, Steam boiler, Chilled-Water plant, Air-Compressor, Incubator etc. 2. Periodically shut-down for preventive maintenance and overhauling services.3. The design and construction of supervisory panel for monitoring system.4. Fabrication of obsolete mechanical spare parts.5. Procurement the spare parts from local and overseas and maintain stock inventory.

MINISTRY OF INTERIOR INTERNAL SECURITY HOUSING PROJECT -1. To supervise the Installation of Conduits, Trunking, Cable trays, Lighting Fixtures, Street lighting Poles, Distribution boards, Equipment control panels. Sub-station equipment: Power Transformers, ACB, MCCB, CT-PT and Earth fault, Over-current relays etc.2. PABX, MATV, CCTV, Fire protection system, Public address system.3. Test & Commissioning of ACCP control panels, HVAC control devices, AHU motors, Inverter emergency power supply, HT cables and earthing system etc.4.
