• Initially worked on tools for VMware’s Network & Security Business Unit (NSBU). Included things like adding support for declaratively defined testbeds in the test framework.• Then briefly worked on Corfu, the distributed shared-log database underlying VMware’s Software Defined Networking stack, mainly contributing to the trimmer/compactor for the shared log.

• Worked on the webcam security component of the Norton suite, now used by millions of Norton users: contributed to the rules engine, integrated reputation-based rule creation which greatly reduced user prompts; also installer integration, among other parts. C++• . Designed and wrote an iOS authentication library in Swift for an unreleased product based on an open standard.• Discovered a vulnerability of medium CVSS severity in Norton with a PoC exploit. Won internal bug bounty prize.• Worked on a Java microservice to bridge account changes between Norton login and an acquisition’s platform, also discovered encryption flaw. Created Splunk dashboard to monitor it.• Made build dashboard that integrates data from various Jenkins instances and shows metrics on build failures among other things.
