Profile bio

About Alan Hynes

Leadership of cross-functional programs in customer-led engineering and R&D has been my cornerstone and passion and continually forces me to break new ground - a good thing! Recently I've built, guided and (hopefully!) enabled my teams to deliver on high risk projects including award-winning, fully certified 5G radios (6 variants) and state-of-the-art connected wearable sensors. Those programs catered to the human needs of connectivity in private networks, ensuring that from conceptualization to regulatory certification, from software to hardware, innovation and value is integrated into our products and colleagues are enabled to be their best. My roles have given me deep expertise in technology development leadership and processes and left me fluent across a vast array of functional areas: from embedded and system software integration to electronics and materials. Even site leadership and refurbishment!! R&D is risky and hard! But sensible external partnerships, clear targets and motivated teams make it a loss less so!!

Listed skills include R&D, Start Ups, Product Development, Strategy, and 14 others.
