Growing up in the Netherlands I have had the privilege of being exposed to a multitude of diverse cultures. I was able to frequently visit other countries and as a result, developed an open-minded and culturally sensitive perspective. I also took the initiative to learn new languages (6 and more counting to be exact☺️), which has helped me communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. Since moving to Houston, I have continued to expand my knowledge and appreciation for different cultures.
