As a graduate of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, I was able to develop a deep understanding of the world of communications through the courses offered at Penn State. I am truly blessed to have been a student at this university, and I am looking forward to the experiences I will gain following graduation.During my time at Penn State, I was an active volunteer in the THON community. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world committed to enhancing the lives of children and families impacted by childhood cancer. THON's mission is to provide emotional and financial support, spread awareness and ensure funding for critical research, all in pursuit of a cure. THON's year-long efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon each February.Most recently, during my senior year, I participated as a Dancer in THON 2022, standing for the full 46 hours. My junior year, I was selected to be a part of the THON Public Relations committee as a Media Relations Captain. My freshman and sophomore years, I served as a Dancer Relations committee member for THON. The members of this committee serve as the physical and emotional support system for THON Dancers throughout the 46-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon in the fight against childhood cancer.Fell free to reach out to a driven, passionate, and reliable member of the Penn State community.
