What don't I do? I went to The Modern College of Art and Design (formerly the School of Advertising Art) and graduated in 2003. Since then, I've had an array of experience with firms, in-house, and freelance-for-firm jobs, had a 6-year stay working for two PBS stations, and currently am working for a design firm and web development company. In addition to that, I've also got my freelance business, Aibrean's Studio, where I mainly do professional voice-over work and smaller projects. I am primarily a UI/UX designer and have grown over the years to hone my skills in information architecture, user stories, flowcharts, wireframing, and prototypes. I enjoy taking complex problems and developing visual solutions that are intuitive and easy for users to understand and navigate. My forte focuses on applications rather than websites, although I enjoy solving challenges with complex architecture.I also have experience as a hybrid front-end developer. I am self-taught when it comes to code, but I can develop websites in WordPress without pre-built themes, and I have put together working prototypes using Bootstrap, Foundation, and PHP. I understand JavaScript to a degree (I could develop it in a NextJS environment), but I am more creative than analytical. I enjoy visualizing how components interact in a space.

    Books were always prevalent in my life and so was the fondness for writing. At the age of thirteen, I began my first novel, Lady From Day. It took over ten years to write, but since the completion of it in 2009, I have written several additional novels and have participated in NaNoWriMo, Camp NaNoWriMo, and Script Frenzy, “winning” at every attempt. I have since published Lady From Day, as well as an adaption of my Script Frenzy '11 piece, Out of Time, which also is available as a free audio drama I produced as well.
