Coordinated, tracked and progress monitored data for a large comprehensive state grant that provided professional development for 54 high school teachers from 6 school districts in the county to improve college-level math readiness among high school seniors. In a specially created position, served as liaison between the school district and a charter school. Assisted district with program oversight, including monitoring adherence to a Memorandum of Understanding, supervising academic accountability, and monitoring compliance with categorical funding conditions and mandates. Conducted site and home visits with Charter School staff. Also served as Special Education Services Coordinator for the Charter school and worked with a contracted educational agency to provide special education services/goals for students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Participated in IEP meetings as Local Educational Agency representative and supervised staff.

Implemented site-level Coordinated Compliance Self-Review resulting in the school receiving a favorable review in compliance with Federal and CA state laws for implementation of categorical programs. Managed school-wide operations as Administrator designee during Principal’s absences.

Developed and managed a 5-year $1.5M Title VII Comprehensive School Restructuring Federal Grant that resulted in systemic reform and creation of a K-6 Two-Way Dual Language program at Castroville Elementary School. Secured $400K+ in grant funding, launched and directed operations of a nonprofit Parents as Teachers (PAT) program based on research findings in prior role to provide early childhood development support services to the County. Advanced from Research Consultant to Coordinator and Administrator for the Northern California Parents as Teachers (NCPAT) Program Demonstration Randomized Clinical Trial, a full-scale 3-year demonstration randomized clinical trial and supplemental qualitative study to assess effectiveness of the Parents as Teachers (PAT) home visiting model in improving outcomes for parents and children (birth to age 3). Trained and supervised 14 employees. Developed and managed budget. Assisted in recruiting 500 families.Select Accomplishments:★Established operational systems, policies, and procedures for program implementation and extensive data gathering required by researchers from SRI International and the American Institutes for Research.★Created and implemented a Parent Educator Home Visitation Supervision Model and presented this model at the Parents as Teachers International Conference.
