Main Duties:Head of Payroll department in a multi-sector, multi-state company. Human Relations, Accounts Payable & Receivable,Journal entries,Bookkeeping,Quality Control,Team supervision. - Auditing various payroll reports for accuracy.- Creating and testing new payroll deductions.- Leading payroll operations to provide accurate and efficient payroll services to all employees.- Overseeing full payroll processing cycle and preparation.- Managing the relationship of external payroll service providers and monitoring the effectiveness of the processing services provided by the vendor.- Facilitating processing of year-end W2s and other required forms to employees.- Responsible for changes within the payroll process and supporting systems to appropriately facilitate new types of compensation or changes within the business.- Maintaining and updating documentation of payroll processes and procedures.- Leading, recommending, and participating in department projects to continually review and improve current processes.- Additional tasks and payroll-related responsibilities to keep pace with growing global organizational needs.- Partnered with Human Resources to implement improvements.- Conducting testing for new pay components and new tax deductions.- Managing multiple projects with short deadlines and able to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging, team-oriented environment.- Preparing data and reports for audits.- Workload management and operating with urgency when issues arise.
