Team leader of the CLS Research Data Management team responsible for the management and sharing of data and metadata from social surveys, biomedical collection, genetics and external linked health and education records of the UK longitudinal cohort studies hosted by CLS:- National Child Development Study (1958 birth cohort) - 1970 British Cohort Study- Next Steps (Longitudinal Study of Young People in England, born in 1990) - Millennium Cohort Study (2001 birth cohort) - CLS Covid-19 web surveys- Early Life Cohort (2021 birth cohort, feasibility stage)

Overall responsibility for the Whitehall II study data management. Design and maintenance of the research database, programming in SAS and SQL, addition of newly collected data and generation of the study metadata. Responsible for the linkage and processing of external health data (NHS, ONS) and for the implementation and documentation of the data management plans and information governance processes, IG Toolkit, data sharing agreements (NHS Digital, ONS, HRA, etc), data security and data protection.Fully responsible for the design and implementation of the study data sharing programme. Very involved in the planning of data collection, data entry and the development of data capture protocols. Liaison with the PIs, researchers, admin/data collection team and national and international data users. Design and update of the study website: www.ucl.ac.uk/whitehallIISolid line management experience and regularly involved in recruitment. Created the UCL Public Health Data managers group.

Formal software development in relational databases (PL/SQL, Oracle 9i Forms and Oracle 9i Reports) and technical support of the third party fundraising software package used at the UCL Development and Alumni Relations Office. Involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle: gathering of requirements, analysis, design specification, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support. Responsibility of writing programming procedures and standards, as well as organising seminars to disseminate this information to all developers in the department.

Design and management of an Oracle relational database used on two research projects that evaluated the NHS cervical screening programme in England. Responsibilities included designing the database, importing data from a variety of formats into Oracle, use of PL/SQL scripts to clean the data and genarate derived variables, production of randomised subsets datasets for testing purposes, SQL queries, statistical analysis using Stata and production of reports and graphs.

Design and management of large accounting databases containing trading details of financial transactions and their electronic settlement in the UK. I was involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle (analysis, design specification, development, testing, implementation and support) both individually and as part of a team. Support desk for our financial clients in the City.Oracle 7 and 8i, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, awk and Perl.

Computational chemistry project about the photochemistry of organic dyes (cyanines), applying tools and strategies in quantum chemistry. Results published in JACS. Computational chemistry project investigating reactions mechanisms of organic compounds (thermolysis of aliphatic azides). Results published in the JPC. Collaboration with biochemistry and organic chemistry groups. Teaching of Physical Chemistry laboratory to 1st and 3rd year students.

Predoctoral experience in molecular biology research. Study of the enzymatic activity of membrane proteins in multidrug resistance parasites (Leishmania Tropica). Results published inBiochemical and Biophysical Research Communications.
