• Managed trip schedules, preparation, and arrangements with the owners and local workers for collecting samples.
• Mastered installation and programming of CR-1000 and NeoMote data loggers, and how to collect data using LoggerNet and Putty software.
• Managed configuration and installation of remote data logging equipment.
• Conducted water potential readings, collected nitrate solutions from samplers, and downloaded data from data loggers on each trip.
• Repaired tensiometers and 5TE sensors connected to the field data loggers when needed.

Fargo, North Dakota Area

• Lead and managed a US EPA funded project: “Multi-element Analysis of Riparian Wetlands and Rivers in North Dakota.”
• Developed expertise in soil and plant (aquatic and terrestrial) characteristics by working on three different projects (individual and collaborative).
• In charge of collecting sediment/soil/plant samples in several field trips to five major rivers, riparian wetlands, and prairie potholes regions in North Dakota.
• Scheduled and managed meetings/correspondence with farmers and landowners to set up site sampling and data collection and inform them of environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act and regional laws.
• Managed lab tests on samples for particle size, loss on ignition (LOI), pH and electrical conductivity (EC), plant digestion, DNA extraction and sequencing, and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
• Conducted data processing and statistical analysis including, ANOVA and regression on the results, prepared lab reports, and the final project report to the US EPA.
