I currently work as a substitute teacher during my college breaks. Through this position with the North Bellmore Union Free School District, I am able to work in multiple elementary schools consisting of grades K-6. This opportunity has allowed me to fully step into the classroom setting for extended periods of time. Whether I cover one class for a full day, fill in for multiple teachers when they need to step out of their class or act as a teacher for a special, I help wherever I am needed. This broad sense of teaching has allowed me to become familiar with all aspects of elementary school and adjust both my teaching and managerial style to best suit any circumstance and grade level I am put in.
