Aidan holds a BA degree in Economics & Psychology from Auckland University, NZ, a BBS degree in marketing from Massey University, NZ, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors (GAICD).He has 29 years experience in the global dairy industry and was first employed as GM of the Consumer Products Division of Tatua Dairy Co-operative, NZ from 1985 to 1997 before taking up the role of MD, Fonterra Brands Lanka and Newdale Dairies Ltd, Sri Lanka, from 1997 to 2001.In 2001 Aidan moved to Melbourne, Australia to merge three dairy companies to create Bonland Dairies Ltd, which later absorbed Peters & Brownes in Western Australia, MDP in NSW and Norco Milk in NSW to become Fonterra Brands Australia Ltd. In 2008 Aidan joined the Bega Cheese group, initially as CEO of its dairy & infant formula subsidiary, Tatura Milk Industries, and then became CEO of Bega Cheese Limited prior to its IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2011. Based in NSW and Victoria, Bega has revenues of approximately A$1 billion and is focused on infant nutritionals, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, consumer cut, pack and processed cheese as well as general dairy commodity products.Aidan is an experienced senior executive and company leader.
