I have experience in project management, including 44 hours of PMI-authorized training and management of projects with as many as thirteen members. I have worked on government contracted projects with partners in national labs and research universities, I collect and analyze data generated over multiple years, I am the lab manager, and work first-hand in the scale-up of R&D processes for large-scale manufacturing. Before PLT was taken on by OSRAM Opto-Semiconductors, I worked as a member of the Quantum Dot Synthesis team, investigating the synthesis of quantum dot structures for prolonged use in high-efficiency LEDs. I worked with a small team to identify goals for our product, plan and perform product synthesis, and troubleshoot research difficulties.

I worked as a member of the Owen Group synthesis team. With assistance from graduate student mentors, I created a library of novel metal-chalcogenide nanocrystal semiconductor (quantum dot) precursors and analyzed their effects on growth and spectral properties of their final products.

Boulder, Colorado

Working with graduate students in the Damrauer Group, I probed the electronic structures of polypyridyl ruthenium complexes to understand their potential for use in solar energy conversion and catalysis. I worked with ultrafast Transient Absorption and 2D Electronic Spectroscopy, using femtosecond-resolution pulse-shaped lasers to understand the complexes'​ electron transfer processes.
