I am currently a Junior studying International Relations and Pre-Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Keough School of Global Affairs and College of Science. At Notre Dame, I am a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Biological Sciences, Executive Board Member for the Korean Student Association, and DEI Commissioner for Morrissey Residence Hall. Through my work as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Teaching Assistant, and experience in undergraduate biological, physical, and chemical sciences laboratories, I have developed widely applicable communication, technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. My curriculum in International Affairs continues to enhance my economic, cultural, and international development analytical skills and knowledge.In my free time, I volunteer at the Robinson Community Learning Center and shadow multiple physician disciplines including cardiology, family medicine, primary care, and orthopaedic medicine. I am also the President of a medical journal club aimed at advancing the comprehension and professional abilities of students with a vested interest in medical school.As an aspiring physician with an interest in hospital administration, I am currently pursuing a combined MD/MPH, MD/MHSA, or MD/MBA program.Feel free to reach out at aflemin8@nd.edu
