Between my 2nd and 3rd years of study at University my course had a integrated Year in Industry. During this time I was an Service Desk Engineer Intern at Adobe.My role as a Service Desk Engineer Intern involved supporting the businesses that usedAdobe’s Experience Cloud products, primarily Analytics, Campaign, Audience Managerand Target. This involved the triage of tickets, troubleshooting and fixing the issue andassisting clients with the software.

My job involved building and preparing PC's/Laptops for sale, troubleshooting and fixing PC's/Laptops and disassembling PC's/Laptops for spare parts. During my time I gained a large amount of knowledge with assembling and disassembling Laptops and also became very proficient at troubleshooting problems and fixing both hardware and software issues on a range of devices.I also spent some time voluntarily assisting individuals with the assemblance of their computers, this was done in their homes and each had different specification for their desired use. If ever technical difficulties occurred I would go back and fix these. People were satisfied and I gained valuable face-to-face experience whilst doing this.

My main responsibility was marking and processing work handed in by the students who attended Kumon. I would also assist with teaching them and providing them with assistance when they required it with the more difficult levels of Mathematics. Whilst there I gained a good insight in how to explain concepts to people when they don't fully understand them without straightforwardly telling them the answer or solution.
