As one of two elected representatives for the Medill School of Journalism in the Associated Student Government (ASG) Senate, I work with 20 senators representing all six undergraduate schools at Northwestern University. Together, we are responsible for allocating funding to student organizations and advocating on behalf of the undergraduate student body by drafting resolutions and legislation to present to university officials. Being a school senator allows me to actively contribute to shaping the policies and direction affecting the Northwestern community.

As a member of the Academics Committee (ACOMM), I focused on bridging the gap between students and faculty by enhancing the accessibility of academic resources. Additionally, I contributed to the Education Initiatives and Training (EIT) subcommittee, where we developed and implemented innovative alternatives to traditional teaching methods, including initiatives to promote inclusive teaching practices.

In my paid executive role as Vice President of Community Engagement on Northwestern's Interfraternity Council (IFC), I am responsible for organizing and facilitating community service initiatives that connect eight IFC fraternity chapters with the broader Evanston and university communities. Member of the Gamma Chapter of Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT).

I conduct tours of Northwestern's Evanston campus for prospective students and their families on behalf of the Office of Undergraduate Admission. This role was secured through a competitive selection process, which included a written application and an in-person interview.

I serve on a legislatively created advisory council of up to 22 youth, ages 16-22, established to advise the Indiana General Assembly (IGA) on issues concerning young people. These include education, employment, strategies to boost youth involvement in government, safe environments, substance abuse, emotional and physical health, foster care, poverty, homelessness, and youth access to government services. I was nominated by the late Senator Jean Breaux (D-Indianapolis) and appointed by Indiana State Senate Minority Leader Senator Greg Taylor (D-Indianapolis).

As part of the event staff at a medium-sized outdoor concert venue in Downtown Indianapolis (Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park, Capacity: approx. 6,000), I was tasked with ensuring the safety and security of our guests. My responsibilities included assisting with admissions at the gates, monitoring the lawn and pavilion areas, providing services to artists and crew backstage, and securing the venue's fence borders within the surrounding White River State Park.

In this tipped position at a bustling pizza restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Indianapolis, I supported servers by busing tables and assisting with tasks such as providing refills, running checks, and pre-busing tables.
