Senior Customer Service Advisor
CurrentI initially started my employment at Lloyds as a retail customer care advisor, which involved taking inbound customer calls and utilising product knowledge, bank processes, and several different systems in order to deliver an outstanding customer experience. My excellent performance in this role quickly reaped reward, as only four months into my employment I was promoted to the wealth and mass affluent department, which entails a more specialised service for our wealthier and private banking clients. Currently, my roles key responsibilities entail: Customer support: by addressing queries related to accounts, transactions, banking products, and general inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Lloyds Banking Group's products, services, and promotional offers to assist customers effectively and recommend suitable solutions.Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately documenting customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the system to maintain comprehensive records and facilitate future references. Furthermore, documenting customer support needs by being able to identify and then approach difficult conversations regarding vulnerabilities/ financial difficulty. Compliance: Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data protection policies, and security measures while handling customer information and transactions.Administrative: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook email communicationOverall, the key skills and qualifications I have developed at my time at Lloyds is primarily strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely. Additional skills I have gained from the role is excellent familiarity with banking systems and software, ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently in a fast- paced environment, and finally always having a compliance- orientated mindset with a keen eye for detail.
