I am a junior Finance major studying in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. I am graduating in Fall 2024, after earning a finance degree. I am seeking an internship for summer 2024. Throughout my time at Miami, I have obtained skills in SQL, Excel, JMP, and Microsoft PowerPoint. The diligent Miami business course has helped me develop my numerical comprehension, such as calculus, business finance, managerial accounting, and micro economics. I have sharpened my interpersonal communication skills from taking an advanced business writing course and through experiences through a social greek life.These skills allowed me to receive an internship at Norplas Industries in Northwood, OH. This position helped me gain the skills of teamwork, communication, and organization while giving me experience in many different aspects of the business world. I created daily meeting reports, managed pay roll, paid time off, and developed work instructions for floor workers. I was able to use this experience in the Miami FYIC client challenge in which we worked with FC Cincinnati. Collaborating with a team we developed a model to increase fan attendance. I am excited to explore possible internship opportunities that will implement the skills that I derived in my time as a student at Miami. In addition, I look forward to gaining new skills and meeting new people.
