Attorney Welsh joined the law firm as an associate in 2006 after receiving her honors B.A. degree with distinction, magna cum laude, from the University of Delaware in 2003 and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006. While in law school, she was a member of the Connecticut Law Review and served as the Competition Editor for the law review during her 3rd year. She also received awards for academic excellence in Civil Procedure and Evidence. 'Attorney Welsh was admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut in 2006 and the State of New York in 2009. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, and the Fairfield County Bar Association, as well as the Family Law Sections of these associations. Attorney Welsh is the current Assistant Treasurer Secretary of the CBA and the Treasurer of the CBA Family Law Section. Attorney Welsh also previously served as the Chair of the CBA Young Lawyers Section.Attorney Welsh was named by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a "New Leader in the Law" in 2012.
