I love helping people, specifically working with young people. My experience in the Peace Corps taught me not only multicultural understanding but also best practices in serving underprivileged youth. In two years of volunteer service in West Africa, I developed a love for teaching and managing a variety of programs to meet the needs of my small, rural village. My time doing seasonal work in Glacier National Park and Park City Utah, allowed me to further my customer service and communication skills. Requiring attention to detail to keep myself and resort guests safe, I loved the adventure that came with whitewater rafting and skiing. Now transitioning into a new role as a recruiter, I am using my skills learned in previous positions. Taking this opportunity to learn more about the specifics of a traditional job, I am using my communication and service skills to meet students' needs.
