At Integrated Control Technology our focus has been on innovation, culture and bringing world-class security solutions to customers throughout the world. ICT have had two active solutions in market for some time, Protege GX and Protege WX, and I have been working with our customers and development teams to progress the development and release of the latest cloud-based security platform Protege X.

Within the Gallagher Security division was a newly developed security solution which targeted the Small and Medium Business market. This solution was a cloud-based security system, managed by the owner through a mobile app designed and developed entirely within Gallagher. The role of Business Development Manager was to increase the exposure of the SMB product and gain momentum in sales to provide a new level of growth within the business.

As Direct Imports is a distribution company for professional entertainment equipment, I was tasked with actively finding new avenues for sales opportunities throughout New Zealand and Australia. Along with this I spent my time developing customers needs for professional lighting products and consulting on installs. I also was able to use my audio knowledge to assist with sales presentations, design installations and help with the professional audio sales throughout the company.

As a Sales Consultant/Engineer I work closely with clients to advise on appropriate solutions for their lighting needs and then implement this chosen solution and provide technical training. I am also responsible for Marketing and Design which has included creating and launching a webstore and creating media and digital advertisements to promote our business and products.
