My work included bug fixes, migrating storyboards to programmatic UI code, and developing the UI (both UIKit and SwiftUI) and functionality for several new features. These features include a new search bar for retailers to find brands, the "Faire Winter Market" promotional event, and "Fairdle" - an in-app game that takes inspiration from Wordle.

My work included adding new features, such as a "challenge" mode where users could play quizzes against one another in real time (similar to Kahoot). My other contributions include: updating Pairrd's UI, adding notifications, improving performance, and bug fixes. I briefly did some development work on the Pairrd web application, written with AngularJS.

Under the Agile methodology, I submitted over 60 pull requests involving sounds, animations, UI widget creation, notifications, networking, Unity plug-ins, Game Center API, and bug fixes. As part of a team-wide hackathon, I greatly expanded the existing MarsDash power-up system by creating unique, special power-ups for each playable character.

This application uses a genetic algorithm to solve the Quadratic Assignment Problem in the context of military command spaces. I designed and implemented an adaptable, user-friendly, and well-performing GUI for GALO using Windows Forms.

Tech Stack: Java, Flow, PowerApps, SharepointFor my first co-op term, I built several java applets to organize and manipulate large amounts of data for SickKids Project Horizon. For instance, I used the machine learning library Apache OpenNLP to categorize 1000 Project Horizon initiatives based off of written descriptions. I also worked with Sharepoint, Flow, and PowerApps this co-op term. Specifically, I built a PowerApp and Flow that receives requests from SickKids employees to create new Teams in Microsoft Teams. My application automatically creates the new Team using Microsoft's Graph API.

Tech Stack: pythonFor this summer internship, I worked as a software developer, with undergraduate and graduate students, in CIGITI Lab. I wrote and tested python code for the Pediatric Surgical Robot: a robot that can perform a bone biopsy under an MRI.

For this part time internship, I built a 6 file Excel Database to store data from an investigation on newborns with jaundice: Rh Sensitization: A 2-year Canadian National Surveillance Study. I also performed a literature review on the effectiveness of various bilirubinometers (devices that can measure the quantity of bilirubin without needing a blood sample).
