I taught classes on Marine Biology, Oceanography, and Earth Science. As a CIMI instructor I strived to provide students with a deeper understanding of marine science, themselves, and the world around them.

During the program I lived and worked in three distinct environments at world-renowned research facilities in the Northwest Atlantic (NU MSC), the tropics (Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute), and the North Pacific (UW Friday Harbor Laboratories).I acquired the fundamental knowledge to understand the forces that shape different marine ecosystems and developed scientific rigor through the design, execution, and analysis of cutting-edge experiments. Additionally, I received my scientific diving certification through the American Academy of Underwater Sciences and completed 60+ dives. I graduated with cohort 35.
