I am an industrial hygienist and outdoor educator with experience in exposure science, environmental program management, and marine biology. I have interests in risk management, EHS, corporate sustainability, and community outreach. During my time as an industrial hygienist, I have worked in consulting, federal government, and private industry. I have worked on projects covering many aspects of industrial hygiene and have extensive knowledge of workplace hazards found in manufacturing, construction, and laboratory environments, especially within the aerospace sector. During my time as an educator, as well as my academic career, I lived and worked in many unique locations. From studying avian marine life, tropical reef systems, and coastal sustainability to educating students 5th-12th grade on the various aspects of West Coast marine biology, I have gained a love for the oceans and environmental education. In the near future, I plan to become a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) and hope to become more involved in the coastal community in Savannah, GA, where I currently reside.
