The work involved testing multiple devices, with a mixture of apps and web front end solutions. the software was initially predominantly written for Apple products and then prior to my joining, expanded to be a full cross platform solution that coped with QR codes click and collect room bookings, inventory management, stock control, staff bookings and integrated with a range of payment providers, ( such as PayPal, Google, swift), interfaced with remote drink dispensers , till control, and standard accounting packages such as quick books and Xero.

My role was to facilitate that growth by streamlining and standardizing a rigorous QA process, so that the company has a clear quality frame work to build on duing this phase of exponential growth.

Working on a freelance basis via Eames Consulting, as Global UAT manager with ACE Group, (subsequently Chubb) on a multi million pound program to replace core applications and enhance IT offerings in several areas. The project involved the role out of a finance system in the ASPAC region with a core document management system that will be adopted globally. My role focused on oversight of UAT between 4 separate project regions. Once UAT was underway, defect coordination and cross team liaison was the core part of the role, with the chief responsibility being change negotiation between four globally and functionally disparate teams, all migrating to individual bespoke solutions which leveraged a common document management core system.

Employed as a freelance contractor through Testing Solutions Group to conduct UAT and implement significant infrastructure change in Paris as part of a global program of change for this multinational Reinsurance provider. My role was to ensure the sucsessfull transfer of support provision for the French and Japanese teams to the London office. This was combined with a significant upgrade to the windows operating system and other related infrastructure changes. The transfer and upgrade was conducted simultaneously and was sucsessful by all metrics.
