I was the Head of Finance at Endeco Technologies a rapidly scaling smart grid energy optimisation company participating in the US, UK and Irish energy markets. I lead the Finance, Legal and HR department of the business in addition to coordinating commercial, strategic and operational decisions. I was a key participant in series A and B funding rounds raising €4m and €13m to fund further expansion.

I was hired by the Corporate and Asset Finance department of Macquarie to develop a system to assist in the accurate calculation of income on their portfolio of investments.

I was taken on by Ernst & Young as a trainee on their graduate programme and completed my Chartered Accounting examinations in August 2008 and my training experience in April 2009. Working at Ernst & Young provided a good grounding in the world of business, gave me exposure to working with a diverse group of people and while supporting me to advance my studies and obtain my professional qualification.
