I was an intern at the IT Department at my high school. Here I was tasked with multiple different tasks, the primary one being imaging the devices for both students and teachers. Imaging the devices means that I need to know how to problem set up connections for data as well as have troubleshooting skills if a problem arises. Other tasks include helping people who come to the IT front desk with problems for their computer or need a replacement case, stilus, or keyboard, I also updated iPads, set up charging stations, organize tall cabinets full of numerous different types of cables, chargers, adapters, etc, and I also helped if there were any problems with devices that have been flagged as having trouble. From this internship I learned about the tasks listed above as well as various other things about domains, routers, switches, wifi problems, future plans of the department, etc. On top of the various systems and tasks I have learned I also mastered important skills such as teamwork, communication, troubleshooting, critical thinking, and planning.

I had a virtual internship with Win-Tech which is a certified Aerospace Machine Shop located in Kennesaw, GA. During this internship I learned from numerous different professionals from the workforce about topics spanning from supply chain, design, and safety. After having the chance to listen during 12 different presentations and around 20 presenters where I was able to learn a lot about business and engineering that will surely help me with my future goals, I had the opportunity to create a presentation for some of the presenters. Here I designed a new concept of Autonomous Lifeguarding Drones that would help scan the beach and protect those in danger as a response to the dwindling supply of lifeguards across the globe following the pandemic.
