My name is Aidan Jacobs, and I was born and raised in Green, Ohio. Now, I am a junior at NYU Tandon. I am working to pursue my Bachelor of Computer Science, and I can’t wait to get out into the world and to start working on projects that I really care about. I am very passionate about learning new things when it comes to all disciplines of engineering, and I dedicate myself to going above and beyond in my free time to teach myself any necessary skills I need to acquire for a given role. I have a strong foundation of programming and engineering experiences that include thorough experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, SQL, and assembly languages. Additionally, I have experience with software including Tinkercad, Fusion 360, Cura, PyCharm, VS Code, IntelliJ, Office, Adobe. As far as soft skills go, some of my best skills are working in team environments, communicating my ideas clearly, problem solving, critical thinking, and resolving conflict. As I complete my postsecondary education, I eagerly await career opportunities and internships that can help me grow as a professional and all around as a person.
