Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all of the chapter’s social activities with the assistance of the Social Committee with 60 active brothers, and with a budget of over $1,000. These social events include formal events, events for parents and alumni, and philanthropy events for active and new members (including events co-sponsored with fraternities, sororities, and other campus organizations). I am responsible for working with the President and the rest of the executive board to ensure that the chapter follows the risk management plan before, during, and after the event. I am responsible for maintaining and encouraging good social relations across the Greek community and working with other social chairs to collaborate on events.

I was able to create a team-based recruitment structure. While doing this, I developed and facilitated a year-round recruitment program. This includes educating the chapter members on effective recruitment methods while using marketing skills. I oversaw all recruitment actions of the fraternity and approved all flyers, recruitment events, posters, schedules, brochures, mailings, t-shirts, etc. I was able to be a leader in a team environment by establishing clearly defined goals and objectives for the recruitment program while guiding myself as well as my fraternity brothers step by step to ensure the goal's success.

While at Vector Marketing, I learned the skills of earning customer rapport, active listening, and problem resolving. I worked directly with customers to find and fulfill their needs.
