As a recent graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, where I studied anthropology and environmental science on an honor’s track while participating in and even reigniting campus programs such as a housing outreach and an ethnographic internship, I am now invested in gaining new experiences in spaces where culture and histories interact with or even influence living populations as a driver of social change. This has drawn me to cultural institutions such as museums and theatres and to positions that have active and hands on roles in the stewardship of environmental learning programs.I have helped treat frostbite on Michigan Avenue with the same intense spirit that I have handed icepacks to Mason Park campers and washed thousands of industrial baguet pans with the same level of detail that I have dusted a singular map from the Napoleonic era.
