Incoming: Summer 2025

Researched the role of circulating biomarkers and cell-free DNA via liquid biopsies to innovate novel pancreatic/ovarian cancer detection assays. Analyzed the expression of cell-surface proteins in extracellular vesicles to assess the malignancies of ovarian masses.- Relevant skills: ELISA, cell culture, NGS, mass spectrometry, ddPCR, SDS-PAGE, DNA extraction, and Western blotting.

- Assisted nursing units with clerical and administrative tasks, including phone management, responding to call lights, and aiding patients/families.- Shadowed nursing staff to gain insight into hospital unit operations and interdisciplinary patient care; committed to a minimum of 4-8 hours weekly for a minimum of one year.

- Researched the effectiveness of a telehealth intervention combining aerobic exercise and neuroplasticity-based cognitive training to improve cognitive deficits in individuals with schizophrenia by increasing brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). - Monitored treatment progress by collecting symptom/functioning measures and neuro/social-cognitive data for SIStat analysis.

- Coordinated the curriculum and led one of HOPE's sites at San Gabriel High School.- Spearheaded outreach efforts to service recipients at the site and built relationships with community contacts

- Resided as an elected delegate of my high school to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

- Wrote and published an academic paper in the International Journal of Women's Dermatology regarding a cross-sectional survey conducted among middle-aged women with alopecia.
