I co-taught an after school computer science class at Palos Verdes High School for one year. I developed lesson plans that ensured my students were not only prepared for their CS studies in higher education, but were ahead of the curve when they got out of school and entered the software development industry. My lessons included computer science fundamentals, real-life software development concepts applicable in the industry, and even advanced concepts such as AI and robotics engineering. I supervised the software engineering efforts of a robotics competition within the Palos Verdes Institute of Technology, a highly prestigious high school program linked with DARPA.
