My research focused on the mass transport of contaminants out of contaminated aquatic sediments due to ebullitive processes. Provided excellent basis in the theories of fluid mechanics, geomechanics, and mass transport mechanisms.

I have taught an array of courses that focused on topics such as groundwater contaminant transfer, municipal water design, and water treatment for 3rd and 4th year engineering students. These classes were lab-focused and required me to design and organize several labs such that they could be completed in a safe and educational manner.

Position entails the teaching of first-year engineering course material in tutorial sessions covering equilibrium, trusses, shear forces, and bending moments. Requires excellent communication to convey the material to the students as well as exceptional time management to ensure that all marking is completed on time without detrimental effects on academic performance.

Designing and supervising the construction of a large wood structure under supervision of a professional engineer for Science Formal. Structure is designed to support up to 100 people and is designed to be the most environmentally friendly option possible.

Conducted research on methane bubbles being released from soft sediment from the bottom marine systems. The study was focused on determining which characteristics had the largest effect on the bubbles’ methane emissions to the atmosphere to determine its effect on climate change.
