I'm an Information Security Engineer who has recently obtained their B.S. from San Diego State University studying Computer Science. Throughout my years studying, I delved into some excellent opportunities working both as a Dev Ops Engineer and as an Information Security Analyst at Petco's National Support Center. There I designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines to perform tasks such as scheduled, automated security tests(dynamic and static). I grew accustomed working with not only with my team, but a variety of teams within the IT department as I engineered solutions to help working processes across the organization.As an Information Security Analyst, I took on a wide array of roles daily. That included managing support tickets daily that arose for the Identity Access and Information Security teams. I managed OneLogin, a cloud-based Identity management system that maintained accounts for all partners in the company. I adopted my DevOps and Software Engineering skills to create effective software solutions for issues that arose within the IT department. For example, I manipulated and filtered large amounts of data pouring in from various sources such as Crowdstrike, OneLogin, and more in order to assist my team in security analysis. I also assisted in the full migration of Petco's IAM infrastructure, which was a massive effort between Petco and their new software solution, Sailpoint. This was a successful project that replaced the old infrastructure which had existed. I'm ready to dive into similar work and continue my career as an IT professional.
