Working as part of the Marketing department means that I work across a range of different brands within the GoDaddy EMEA Group – including 123 Reg, Webfusion and Heart Internet. I am responsible for creating a range of digital and print content for each brand, ensuring consistent use of each brand’s style and voice, as well as optimising all content for SEO. I took on this responsibility on top of the responsibilities of my previous role - as such I remain responsible for the day-to-day running of our support pages, and am currently spearheading an initiative to refresh our entire content library. Types of content produced include sales email and service messages, web pages for different products and services, support content, print and digital adverts and more. I am also responsible for creating and publishing our web pages through WordPress. During my time in the marketing department both 123 Reg and Heart Internet underwent a rebrand. This gave me experience in dictating what a brand’s tone of voice should be and how to implement it, as well as providing feedback and ideas to senior staff and external agencies. I also play a key role during project launches and updates, helping to focus our message and create compelling material, including our pre-sales page, email campaigns and advertising. I am involved in each project from inception to completion and am depended upon to provide feedback to our Product, Development and QA teams in order to optimise our product offerings. I also have responsibilities outside of my copywriting role. I manage and voice our IVR system, as well as providing voice-overs for our Video Team for use in marketing videos, support videos and internal videos such as training material. I also assist the team with script writing.

In this role I was in charge of researching and creating new content for our customer support sites, as well as updating existing content, to ensure it was useful and SEO optimised. Taking the lead of the Content team meant that I was able to design and implement style guides for each of our brand’s support sites, ensuring that each site was suited to our target customer, as well as overseeing a design update to each site. I was also responsible for liaising with our support staff, Product Managers and customers to ensure that our content was effective and well utilised, as well as working with tools such as Google Analytics to track the value of our content.

Duties included overseeing the development of the company's core customer service platform, including internal management, designing and testing new features and training new employees. It was through this custom-built content management system that I created and maintained customer support content across multiple brands.
