My current role and latest project is as MD of ticketing and event technology start-up, Zicket. We are an event services provider who delivers best-in-class technology solutions to empower event organisers and provide robust systems for event management & operations.Working alongside, and servicing some of Hong Kong and Singapores largest events & attractions we are in the fortunate position of serving millions of customers per year.

In 2017 I made the move to Hong Kong and jumped back into digital marketing and event management.With a view to digitalise a traditional carnival product, introduce digital marketing techniques and digital systems to increase efficiency, reduce process and save on human resource.It was a very important growth period for the company where associated events and venues were added to the portfolio, which included; AIA Carnival, Hong Kong Observation Wheel, Great Circus of Europe and… Show more In 2017 I made the move to Hong Kong and jumped back into digital marketing and event management.With a view to digitalise a traditional carnival product, introduce digital marketing techniques and digital systems to increase efficiency, reduce process and save on human resource.It was a very important growth period for the company where associated events and venues were added to the portfolio, which included; AIA Carnival, Hong Kong Observation Wheel, Great Circus of Europe and Prudential Marina Bay Carnival.I added professional marketing certifications from Hootsuite, Hubspot and Google Analytics to the 7 years of event specific marketing I already had and was able to streamline social media marketing, increase engagement rate, increase follower growth and increase video views & engagement. I introduced eDM campaigns, rebuilt the B2C website and substantially increased the marketing database and advance ticket orders. Alongside this I also helped to introduce a digital candidates process for casual workers, an asset management system and event management tools to help increase efficiency across the whole business.This was a cross business role and it became very apparent that my skills lie in innovation & introducing technology to develop business, create opportunity and streamline internal business operations. My first job as a young professional was with Ticket Arena. This role presented me fantastic opportunities to work closely with huge events and clients including Ibiza Rocks and Parklife festival.My project management skills came to the forefront producing concurrent sales websites for clients, including Event Genius & Cocoon Recordings.I begin the move into event tech via helping to design and develop platforms and apps for the company and released hundreds of new products and… Show more My first job as a young professional was with Ticket Arena. Using social media platforms and social media marketing techniques I had honed over the previous 5+ years, I was able to create a company and a number of successful events in a very short time. This introduced me to running a business, pitching and winning contracts, working with Universities and local business on marketing and promotional campaigns. Over 5 years with Voodoo Events I managed hundreds of weekly & one-off events alongside obtaining my degree in Event Management. This was my first taste of small business, managing events, controlling budgets and managing staff. I learnt a lot in this role, won an award for the 'Best Student Night of the Year, 2011' and was involved in my first large scale project, Leeds Freshers Festival. This was a collaboration event with Leeds Beckets University Student Union.
