- Elected representative of the student body, tasked with advocating for student interests and concerns at the highest University level, directly interfacing with the Board of Trustees appointed by the Governor of Illinois.- Participate in executive decisions, including thorough evaluations of the University President, contributing to goal setting, voting, and the implementation of board initiatives.

- Oversee and lead a diverse team of 47 chapter members, fostering a collaborative and innovative approach.- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic vision and plan with the goal of receiving Sigma Nu’s highest national recognition in July of 2025 – the Rock Chapter Award.

- Coordinate candidate development at the local level within the guidelines of Sigma Nu's award winning Pursuit of Excellence Program. - Plan, host, and lead weekly informational meetings for new candidates, to inform them about proper ideals, as well as things such as: time management, community service/philanthropy, etc. - Act as new members first person to go to if they need help with anything, whether it’s regarding school or their personal lives

• In charge of running the LEAD program within our chapter which is Sigma Nu's award-winning ethical leadership development program• Recruit guest facilitators to present leadership seminars for the LEAD program• Set time schedules and locations for leadership seminars• Report to the chapter regarding dates and times for seminars and ensuring that there is sufficient attendance at each seminar

- Completed a 10-week internship as part of the Lakeshore District field sales team, managing an average of 30 client interactions weekly, with a strong focus on face-to-face engagements alongside an account executive.- Engaged with high-value accounts ranging from $150,000 to $2.5 million in annual shipping revenue, utilizing a consultative sales approach to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

- Provide fun and diverse event programming for the NIU student body- Lead a team of 5 executive board members and each of their respective committee members - Set goals and initiatives for on-campus event programming- Manage marketing efforts to develop and execute CAB's brand identity- Invest in leadership development through workshops and retreats- Oversee a budget of over $300,000

• In charge of brand-new marketing initiative to increase awareness and support for the Campus Activities Board and all events that we put on• Run new social media sites and all content that is posted and broadcasted to NIU students • Produce flyers, videos, graphic slideshows and more to share online and across campus • Order and correctly disperse of marketing materials at different events including giveaway/promotional initiatives

• Oversee civic engagement initiatives• Cultivate and sustain positive campus and community partnerships• Host bi-weekly Huskies Care & Serve on-the-go service events in conjunction with campus and community organizations. • Host Culture Nights and outreach programs• Maintain a healthy 20-hour work week schedule with school which contains office hours and meeting hours

The Senate officially reviews and verifies all executive branch actions and confirms any new appointments to both the Senate and the Executive Branch. Additionally, the Senate is responsible for formally recognizing new student organizations and approving the appropriations of funds for each SGA-recognized organization. The Senate is ultimately responsible for the Student Government Association budget, providing services such as the Campus Recreation Services, Student Legal Assistance and Campus Activities Board (CAB), among others.The Senate is comprised of up to 30 Senator, separated into representative districts. The Senate is concerned with the creation and passage of policies that deal directly with the SGA Constitution and Bylaws. Each Senator serves on at least one standing Senate committee along with an additional Senate committee or a university committee. During the year, Senators also serve the campus and the community through community service and communication of the needs of the student body to university faculty.The Senate works as the voice of the student body on campus
