I am a senior who is very passionate about the world of finance. I have taken several finance courses in school and on my own time that have given me job-ready skills to bring to any company. The skills that I will take with me to any job are;financial modeling, accounting, data analysis, understanding of financial spreads, and a strong understanding of different securities and financial markets. As a result of my high level of interest in the field and dedication I have taken my own time to learn how to create and understand the ins and outs of;- DCF models-CAPM models-Budget models-Consolidation models -3 statement modelsAfter developing an understanding of these and creating my own for practice, I can proudly say that I rarely require a mouse while using excel.I am looking for a company that can use my skills, while I can help people achieve their financial goals. Despite having little professional experience in finance I am seeking opportunities to allow me to meet the work hours requirement for CFP and CFA certifications so I can further my learning and professional development.I am also a student in Economics and Political Science at Pepperdine University, where I apply my analytical skills to research and study various economic and social issues. I am considering furthering me education with a masters in economics, finance, or business.
