I am a highly motivated researcher with expertise in the areas of bioinformatics and computational biology. I am currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Helmholtz Center for Infection research, Braunschweig, Germany. This role has provided further experience in using bioinformatic tools, programming in R, Python and C++ as well as scientific writing and presenting, now totaling 7 years overall experience in these areas. My skills so far have been applied in cancer research and infection research, however, I also have a personal interest in neuroscience, climate science and sustainability.
