My name is Aiden Blatt, and I am currently a Junior at Newport High School in Bellevue Washington. I have a great passion in chemistry with a strong background in this field of study, having taken AP Chemistry and excelling in this course.I'm confident in my ability to apply my problem-solving and communication skills to a chemistry internship, which I have learned working part-time as a referee. Refereeing has also taught me how to remain calm, composed, and how to communicate in high stress situations. Working as a lifeguard for the past two summers has also helped me build my communication skills with coworkers and patrons going to the pool. I'm a hardworking multi-sport student athlete. I've learned to balance school and sports while maintaining high academic standards, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. As a member of a very strong water polo team, practicing 2+ hours an evening, I have learned to balance academics and other social activities. I am also bilingual and certified in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, allowing me to use these programs effectively when necessary.I'm excited to bring my skills and enthusiasm to an internship in chemistry and learn from experienced professionals in the field.
