This position is a rotational internship designed for me to get a "Jack of All Trades" experience. I worked in Banquets with the Housemen, Servers, and Captains & Managers for one week each. I worked in two of the restaurants on property as a Busser, Food Runner, Host, Barback, and Server for 5 weeks. I spent a week at the Rooftop Pool assisting with Bar Service, Expo, and Bussing. For two weeks, I worked as an In-Room Dining Server and Busser. Finally, I spent two weeks in Convention Services assisting the Event Concierge to ensure our clients had everything they needed in their meeting/banquet spaces.

Busser:Fill water. Bring chips and salsa to arriving guests. Clean and reset tables. Assist servers with additional tasks as needed. Polish silverware, glassware, and plates.Barback:All busser duties. Ensure that liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, fruit garnishes, etc. are properly stocked at the beginning of and throughout the shift. Assist the bartenders with making and/or delivering drinks. Engage with guests and ensure that their needs are met.Food Runner: Make sure food is ready in a timely manner. Garnish and decorate dishes as needed. Deliver food from the expo line to the guests.
