As a sustainability team leader I strive to incorporate pillars of sustainability into my various roles on campus. All in an effort to inspire and engage students with sustainable action and scientific literacy. Currently I am focused on the creation of a green labs initiative for Temple University. In collaboration with Temple University Chemical society I am beginning the implementation of green lab protocols to help the university achieve its climate action plan goals. These protocols include changes to energy usage, chemical management, and waste management.My laboratory expertise made me the perfect bridge between administration and lab staff. This knowledge was extremely valuable for communicating the needs and desires of lab techs into actionable requests for management.
