For as early as I can remember, I have always been attracted to the world of technology and business. Fortunately for me, there is an abundance of opportunities where the two fields merge. As I kept learning more and more, I realised that tech businesses present countless approaches to accomplish the same, desired goal.As a current Carleton University student, I have consistently displayed my dedication to academic excellence by becoming a Dean's List student after my first year. However, I also understand that finding a balance between my education and never-ending improvement in computer science & business operations is also just as important in my journey. This is why I plan on pursuing the back-half aspect more this coming year while also maintaining my academic excellence. It will be challenging, but luckily, I've had many experiences when faced with obstacles! It forces me into a position that requires a different method of thinking and creativity that allows me to constantly outperform others.Having a winning mindset means continuously thinking of how to be better and improve from previous mistakes and doing the things that others don't want to do. When I'm face-to-face with what some will consider a failure, I know I have two options: forget about it and move on or learn from it so I can prevent it from happening in the future. I always choose the latter because I live by the saying "There are no failures, there are just steps to success". As much as I enjoy self-improvement, I share the same love and passion to help others. We are all on this journey together!
