I am a dedicated undergraduate Junior at Virginia Tech, where I am pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Technology (EIT) Management. Within my major I dedicate time developing my skills in accounting, economics, marketing, business information technology, and management. I am interested in pursuing a career in the trade industry. Ever since I was fourteen years old, I have spent much time working and developing skills in the blue-collar field that will aid me while making my way into the trade industry. During my time at Virginia Tech, I have become an involved member of the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta. This fraternity has provided me with many opportunities to volunteer within the Blacksburg community. Our main philanthropy event has raised over $470,000 dollars for the Jimmy V. Cancer Research Foundation. We also work closely with local charity organizations such as Micah’s Backpack where we volunteer to help provide meals for the less fortunate. Phi Gamma Delta has also helped me develop skills in recruiting, public speaking and presentations, time management, fostering teamwork, and networking. My aspiration for leadership and my aptitude for team building and effective group management are qualities that I continually strive to develop and demonstrate. I am resolute in my ambition to build strong relationships with those I collaborate with.
