I am an Associate Manager in Marketing & Business Development at ST Pharm. I have been leading projects with management and business development of pharmaceutical campaigns between my company and various global big-pharmas.Based on the experiences, while understanding that the project needs to be successful, it also needs to be aware of the organization's strategic goals to understand where the projects fit in company's portfolio. Projects may become more complex and require certain resources with short notice than anticipated. As a project manager, I am aware that having a plan to manage such instances is critical. To efficiently manage projects, I have worked closely with other departments both internally and externally to understand the interdependencies within the project, understood resource conflicts, and took action accordingly.Experiences in business development has gained my realization that to keep up with market needs, the changes become a norm in the businesses. While it is one of the major responsibilities of my position to minimize the changes, especially in the project scope, many experiences have lead to me embracing and taking advantage of changes in other steps in order to make the project successful.By making team members aware of their roles and responsibilities during the planning stage, project management can prevent the confusion in the later stages. And to share the awareness, I am capable to understand scope of business and predict issues through professional relationship and reviewing documentations.Having an excellent language skill in English/Korean, skills in all softwares and related applications used for businesses, and background in both investment and pharmaceutical business allow me to ensure that above requirements are fulfilled for my company. My career-logic in current role is to devote for the benefits of my company and global health to the maximum. And my strongest strategy is to keep my team more enthusiastic and making them feel the importance of their contribution.
